About Jax

Since I was a young kid, I've always had a glove in my hand and a passion for baseball. I can remember working on my swing wherever I could—even in the grocery store. Baseball has always been more than just a game to me; it's what I love.

During my time at the College of Idaho, I discovered what my dream truly is: helping young athletes reach their full potential while teaching them to respect and love the game.

Baseball has given me so much throughout my life, and I want to pass those lessons on to the next generation. Being able to hit, field, throw, and compete at a high level is important, but that's not the ultimate goal. The goal is to use baseball to help develop better young men and women—athletes who are disciplined, confident, respectful, and prepared for whatever comes next.

That's why Pete and I created J&P Performance. We want to provide young athletes with the training, guidance, and mindset they need to become the best athletes—and the best people—they can be.

PETE BACON

Catcher · Junior · College of Idaho

Behind the Plate

Pete Bacon is my teammate and a junior at the College of Idaho. A catcher who has built his game on toughness, preparation, and leadership, he handles a pitching staff, controls the run game, and understands the position from the inside out.

If your athlete is a catcher, Pete is the guy. He works on receiving and framing, blocking, throwing footwork and pop time, and the mental side of running a game from behind the dish.

Hitting Too

Pete also runs hitting sessions for players of any position — swing mechanics, stance and balance, pitch recognition, and building real power. Between the two of us, your athlete can train every part of their game.
